For a website to be successful, the two biggest points it needs to address are User experience and accessibility. As a website manager, these are my main points of focus when it comes to publishing and development. By making content compliant and accessible, the audience reach is increased to include those who previously couldn’t interact with it. Here, you will find my work with MONAT Global.

The Objective

MONAT Global is a multilevel marketing company that operates in multiple countries. They offer skincare, haircare, and wellness products for their “Market Partners” to sell. The objective of the role was to manage and operate the site to ensure it was compliant, review and publish content for product and country releases, and work with contractors to update the product layout designs.

ADA Overhaul and Work Results

After joining the company, the first order of business was to review the site for improvements while performing my daily duties. I identified both the site performance and the ADA score to be issues that needed to be targeted and addressed. During the ADA overhaul, we identified that the accessibility issues were ingrained in several aspects of MONAT. With the assistance of the Marketing Director, the overall accessibility overhaul was performed to make all MONAT content accessible. This change generated a positive increase in the site analytics and allowed for country and product launches to have better performance than previously.  Below are the results of this overhaul as well as main responsibilities

Country Launches

Successfully launched in 6 countries, each with localized web content.

Unique Page Views

Increase of 50% year-over-year after ADA and performance overhaul was completed.

New Users

Decrease of 20% year-over-year after ADA and performance overhaul was completed.

Product Launches

Successfully launched 9 products lines to all countries with localized content.
